What facilities do I need to make available at the venue?

Electricity:

All of the toilets in the range that we supply run off a standard 13 amp domestic electricity supply. Each trailer unit will require its own supply socket for its sole use for the duration of your event. We will provide cabling to enable the unit to be situated up to 75m from a power source. If however you do not have the ability to provide mains electricity on site, we can advise on the provision of a suitable generator.

Water:

The trailer units that we supply are fully self contained and complete with their own fresh water tank. If your event is of an extended duration there is a possibility that this may require topping up from an on site supply. Under normal use however, no water will be required.

Drainage:

As the toilets are fully self contained, there is no need for any drainage facility on site. Included in the cost of the hire is the disposal of the toilet contents at a remote site after your event as ended and we have taken the trailer units away.

Access to the site:

The site for the toilets should be as flat as possible and easily accessible. That said our units are quite manoeuvrable and we will do our best to locate the trailer unit exactly where want your toilets to be. Some height difference can be made up during installation. The dimensions for each of the units can be found here. If you think that your site will present particular problems please make these known at the time of your booking enquiry. We can discuss your concerns and conduct a site visit if necessary.

When will the toilets arrive on site?

Can the toilets be integrated into a marquee?

It is quite usual for toilet and marquee hire to go hand in hand and for our clients to request that the toilets are situated within the marquee. Our toilet trailer units are less than 3.0m tall and are specially designed to sit lower on the axel to enable the unit to be manoeuvred underneath a full size marquee frame, still providing full height ceilings inside the toilet. We will be responsible for the toilet during your event and your marquee company will be responsible for the marquee during your event. Where you require the toilet to be situated inside the marquee, the delivery of the toilet needs to be timed to be simultaneous with the erection of the marquee.

Will the toilets smell?

Fragranced chemicals are used in the toilet flushing system to remove unpleasant odours. In addition to this, automatic air fresheners are fitted to all of our toilet units. Providing that the toilets are used in line with their capacities / our guidelines, there should be no smell from the toilets.
